The ACTOR Headshot Session
I specialize in modern style business headshot. A modern style headshot is a contemporary take on traditional headshot photography, designed to feel more approachable, authentic, and visually engaging. It blends professionalism with personality and is widely used by actors and personal branding. Acting headshots are essential tools for all performers. Whether you are an actor, model or work in theater. Your headshot needs to capture your true being and versatility in a single image, showcasing your appearance, expressive range, and potential to play different characters. A typical headshot is shoulders up with you looking directly at the camera. You will use your headshot for a variety of purposes:
1. Casting Submissions. Your headshot is your first step into the door when sent to casting directors, producers, and agents when auditioning.
2. Talent Agency Portfolios. Agencies use your headshot to promote you to casting directors and production teams. They are often displayed on their websites and online roster.
3. Social Media and Personal Branding. You can create a fan base when you display your headshots on personal websites, Instagram, IMDb, Linktin,

You only get one chance to make a good impression! In our society people make a decision about you within the first 3-5 seconds. Headshots are vital for casting, making a strong first impression on casting directors and agents. I have been photographing Actor headshots for over 8 years, and I have helped many use these headshots to land the perfect acting roles. I look forward to helping you as well.
The ACTOR Branding Session
A personal branding session is a more in-depth photography experience designed to showcase your personality, brand, and business. Instead of just one headshot, this session includes a variety of images that highlight who you are, what you do, and how you work. While a headshot is typically shoulders up and focuses more on the head/eyes and a matter of fact pose, a branding session can be whatever you want it to be. Full body and a variety of scenes.
You can use a branding session to showcase all the different types of roles you are capable of portraying. While this session is longer than a typical headshot session, I make sure we have fun and maintain a relaxed atmosphere for you to be as creative as you wish to be in sharing who you are for your intended audience.
Your headshot the way you want it
I offer a variety of headshot options to match your brand and personal style. Indoors studio setting or outdoors in nature.
Studio Sessions: While I do not have my own studio, I can provide you a controlled environment for a classic headshot look.
Outdoor Sessions: Take advantage of all natural things. Embrace beautiful early morning or late evening light. We can shoot within the city or head out to the country. Whatever your style is, I will provide you with the perfect location.
On-Location Headshots: I am happy to bring my on-location studio to you at your office for a convenient and hassle-free experience.

HOW IT WORKS!
THE HEADSHOT PROCESS
From booking to the day of your session and beyond, my goal is to make the entire process as simple and stress-free as possible so you and your team can feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
Finding your photographer
I am so glad you have decided to include me in your photographer’s search. I have tried my best to make the process as simple as possible. Please take your time to look over my portfolio, read the information about the different sessions and then read the testimonies of past clients. If you feel we are fit, then contact me and we will get the ball rolling.
Booking + Session Retainer
Thank you for choosing me as your headshot photographer, contact me and we will start the process of making you a CNP client. We will talk, decide on a date/time, location and then I will send you a contract to sign. Your non-refundable session retainer of 50% guarantees your session booking details (including date, time, location specific studio fees if applicable). Remaining session fee will be due at your photo session. Yes, I do accept credit cards.

Once you have secured your session date, I will also send my Welcome Style Guide. This is packed full of information on every detail of our session, plus ideas on what to wear, what to bring, location and just everything you will need to know to make our session go smooth and seamlessly!
Consultation & Planning
Prior to your session, we take the time to get to know you. It’s important for us to learn more about your personality and what you’re all about as this helps guide the photo session. Not sure of what to wear? That’s okay! Bring 2-3 outfit options on the day of your session so you have plenty to choose from. (I’m happy to help you decide!) You’ll probably only wind up wearing 1 or 2, but it’s always good to have options!
Your session day
Plan to arrive 10-15 min early to give you time to destress and get ready. Our session will start exactly at the time you selected. If you’re typically a little camera-shy, don’t worry. I will show you how to pose and will direct you while you’re in front of the camera. I will help you feel comfortable so your natural beauty and personality shine through. I will show you the images and make sure you are happy before you leave.
Proofing Gallery
Approximately 2-4 days after your headshot session, I will select a collection of the best photos. I will lightly pre-edit them for your proofing gallery. Please allow 1-2 weeks for full personal branding sessions. You will receive an email with a link to an on-line proofing gallery with your proofs for you to make your final selections per your session selection (yes, you can share this gallery with colleagues / agents / etc.).
Retouching process
Once you have picked your final image (images per your session details) I will then retouch these photos. The goal with headshot photography editing is to make you look like, well YOU! This is especially important for ACTORS, as your headshots should look as you would look when you walk into an audition. General rule of thumb is that if something will be gone in two weeks (blemishes, scratches, etc.), it will be gone in your photo!
Final Photo Delivery
Your final photos will then be delivered within 1-3 days (for headshots), or 1-2 weeks for full personal branding sessions after you finalize your selections from the proofs. Photo files will be delivered electronically, along with a digital and print release… and your awesome new image(s) will be ready to go!
Additional edited photos can be purchased for $35 each

Session Add on Options
Do you need a video slate? $50 per video slate
An actor slate is loosely defined as a video where the actor introduces themselves and this is commonly part of the beginning of a self-tape but also commonly used as a standalone video in an actor’s reel. It goes alongside getting your headshots. You introduce yourself, tell a little about yourself. This gives a producer a real time live headshot and to see exactly what you are like.
In a slate, there is no one way to do it. It is common to state your name but after that you can also mention things like the city you are located in and more. Some actors might think their slate is just so casting directors can hear their voice, but it is not uncommon for other judgments to also be made, like whether your voice lack confidence, clarity, and so on. So, the quality of the audio and the effort the actor puts forth is important.
Furthermore, it is a good idea to have a full body and close-up shot of yourself in the slate. This is because, again, not all slate requests are the same and some might want a full body shot while others do not request this. Therefore, having both is a good idea.
** PLEASE NOTE**
Rates do not include travel expenses for shoots outside of the Blount Co TN area. Any taxes, fees, etc. are calculated on your itemized invoice. Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel for any reason, I reserve the right to make rescheduling decisions on a case-to-case basis. Deposits and final payments can be made through our invoice system. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before your session is to start for the session to proceed. Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times.

Photographers time, talent, professional photography gear. Travel Fees may apply to on location sessions within 20 miles of Maryville Tn. Timing starts AT the appointment time, so please don’t be late.

This will be based on what your needs and what amount of time you purchased.
Professional Retouching
All photos purchased will be professional retouched
High Resolution Photos
These will be available for you to print the photos you purchase.
Low Resolution Photos
Low resoution is for social media and website usage of the photos you that you purchase.
