ABOUT ME
There’s always gonna be another mountain, I’m always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna be a uphill battle, Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose. Ain’t about how fast I get there, Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side, It’s the climb.. Its all about the climb. song by Miley Cyrus.

HELLO FRIENDS! Come behind the lens and get to know me better…
My name is Cindy and I love being a photographer! Plain and Simple, I LOVE being outdoors and part of nature. I LOVE the peace and quiet of snow falling to the ground, The sound of water rushing from a mountain stream or the waves crashing onto the shoreline, the beauty of when the brown turns to green and new life abounds everywhere. I LOVE when the reds, oranges and yellow leaves light up the hillsides almost overnight. I LOVE looking into the eyes of a wild animal, feeling at one with them while knowing enough to keep my distance. I LOVE watching a athlete giving their all for the love of the game, capturing the highs and lows that come with competition. I LOVE being part of someone’s very special day and capturing moments in time that they will enjoy forever. Yes, I love photography! It is my stress release in this ever changing and sometimes difficult unfair world.
My love of photography started in my teens. I always felt more comfortable being behind the lens rather than in front. In college I did take several photography classes and especially enjoyed learning the in’s and out’s of the darkroom. The last 30+ years I have continued to learn and grow as a photographer. I am very lucky to have several pro photographer friends who are very kind in sharing their knowledge with me. I have several amazing mentors in my life that I appreciate so much and I am excited when I get to step into that mentoring role with someone. The last few years I have concentrated on portrait photography. The entire process is amazing and when a client is thrilled at the finish product, it really makes my day. My approach to working with clients is to make it as stress free, relaxing and fun as possible process. I promise to give you my all and make you shine on your special day.
Now as I move into my 60’s, I see it as a way to renew, recharge, regroup and refocus on every aspect of my photography. I feel like I am the best I have ever been and more willing to allow myself to be more creative and step outside the box more. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos on my website.
I feel blessed to live right outside the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I love hiking, exploring, playing guitar, watching my favorite team the Nashville Predators Hockey Team and root also for UT VOLS!

WHAT’s IN MY BAG?
I get questions all the time about gear I use, what camera do you have, ect. so I thought I would share my camera gear with you.. You will notice I have quite a few brands of camera systems. I find I love certain things about each system; plus, the last few years I have helped a friend teach an adult education class at UT downtown campus and it has helped with me knowing how to operate pretty much all camera systems.
